Chronic Disease Management – Medicare
Medical rebates for Osteopathy are available for people with a chronic medical condition or complex care needs.
If you have a chronic medical condition; one that has been, or is likely to be present for 6 months or longer, you may be eligible. Please Note: A referral from your GP is needed before booking a consultation at our clinic.
Your GP will have the final say on whether you are eligible for this care plan. Bring in your paper work on the day of your first consultation.
At Moreland Osteopathy, you are not required to pay any GAP fee on the Chronic Disease Program (for a standard consultation approx. 30 min). Simply bring in your Medicare card, and it will be swiped on the spot for bulk billing.
< If you have complex issues and are wanting more time with the Osteopath then fees will be as a private consultation and Medicare will refund you $55.10 on the spot per consultation under the care plan.>
TAC Accident Claims
At Moreland Osteopathy, we treat and manage many TAC claim injuries.
Our TAC clients are not charged any out of pocket costs for Osteopathy.
You, as a driver or pedestrian, cannot determine when or where you will have an accident, therefore we believe it is unfair for you to pay out of pocket.
You just need to supply us with your relevant claim number and proof that your injury has been approved for Osteopathy and like services.
Workcover Claims
At Moreland Osteopathy, Work Cover clients are not charged any out of pocket costs for Osteopathy.
You, as a worker, cannot determine when or where you will have an accident, therefore we believe it is unfair for you to pay out of pocket.
You need to supply us with your relevant claim number and proof that your injury has been approved for Osteopathy and like services.
Until we receive this information, you will have to pay out of pocket costs for your treatment, pricing as set by Moreland Osteopathy, and you will be issued with a receipt and you can claim back from the third party (insurances) yourself.
